This Cookie Policy explains how AdProfex Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on adprofex-ltd.com (the "Website"). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include pixels, local storage, and SDK identifiers. This policy refers to all such technologies as "cookies".
2. Categories of cookies we use
(a) Strictly necessary (always on; no consent required)
- Session management, authentication, CSRF protection, load-balancing, language preference, cookie-consent state.
- Examples:
__session,csrf_token,cookie_consent. - Retention: session or up to 12 months.
(b) Analytics (optional; consent required outside the US/UK)
- Aggregate, privacy-respecting usage analytics to understand traffic and improve the Service.
- Provider example: Plausible (cookie-less by default) or PostHog (self-hosted, IP-anonymised).
- We do not use Google Analytics by default.
- Retention: up to 12 months.
(c) Marketing (optional; consent required)
- Conversion tracking on landing pages, retargeting if any.
- Example providers: Meta Pixel (only with consent), Reddit Pixel.
- We do not enable any marketing cookies until you click "Accept all" or "Customize → Marketing".
- Retention: up to 13 months.
3. No advertising cookies inside our apps
We do not use cookies within our mobile applications (including HeartLog) for advertising. The mobile apps use only essential SDKs (crash reporting, in-app subscription management).
4. Consent management
At first visit, we display a cookie banner with three equal-prominence options:
- "Reject all" — only strictly necessary cookies are set.
- "Customize" — choose categories.
- "Accept all" — all categories enabled.
You may change your choices at any time via the Cookie Preferences link in the website footer.
5. CCPA — California residents
If you are a California resident, you may exercise the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" right via the link in our footer. We do not "sell" personal information; we ensure our cookies do not engage in cross-context behavioural advertising without your opt-in.
6. APPI — users in Japan
Cookies may constitute "Personal Related Information" (個人関連情報) where they can be linked to identifiable individuals by a third party. We obtain prior opt-in consent before any such transfer, in accordance with APPI Art 31.
